Theory + Confined Water Skills
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM · Labuan Bajo
Equipment introduction, dive principles, and a pool session to practice skills: breathing, mask clearing, buoyancy, regulator use. Lunch break in the middle. By the end you know your gear and you’re ready for open water.

Open Water Day Trip — 3 Dives
6:30 AM – 3:30 PM · Komodo National Park
Boat into the park. Shallow, protected reef sites. First dive — just breathe and get comfortable. Dives 2 and 3: you’re applying skills and looking at the fish. Meals included on board.

Do I need any experience?
No. The Open Water course is for complete beginners. Age 10+, basic swimming ability, and a filled medical questionnaire are the only requirements.
Is the course safe in Komodo? I heard about strong currents.
Yes. Training dives happen in protected bays with calm, shallow water — no current. You only go to current-exposed sites when you’re ready, and your instructor judges this individually.
Can I start studying before I arrive?
Yes and we recommend it. PADI eLearning lets you complete the academic section before arrival, which frees up evenings during the course. We’ll send you the link after booking.
What if I need to change dates?
Unlimited free date changes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before start. If your flight is cancelled, you’re eligible for a full refund — just show us proof.
How do I book?
