The absolute minimum you need is 4 weeks but people rarely do this version. You’re more likely to spend between 6-8 weeks and enjoy the course as a part of your new life on the tropical island.

The certificate never expires but the agencies do require a yearly renewal to make sure you are in active status. This is only required if you are planning on working.

As much as you want really! You can expect to dive about 3 times a day when practicing guiding or assisting on courses. Some of that time will also be spent in the pool learning how to teach skills.

Some other companies don’t take any actual responsibility for the quality of the bookings they offer but we are not like them.

Accommodation is not included but the team is happy to help find suitable arrangements. Normally people will book a homestay or hotel for the first week and then look for places when they are on the island.

Two options: the regular tourist Visa which can be done online or at the airport. You can extend it once and then would have to fly out and return on a new visa (take a holiday from your holiday)

Second option is the B221A visa which is like a business visa. Gets you 60-days and can be extended for another 30 day 4 times. You can get this via a reputable agency that will sort it all out for you.

Unfortunately not. Indonesia has very strict laws on internships or any kind of work that is not done via legal proper means.

Not a chance. Our goal is not to charge you more when you can go directly and find your own place to go diving.

We have agreements with our dive centre partners in which they reimburse us to pay for our staff pizza dinners and beers. (that’ll all we do this for)

Our Pricing Promise also means that there is full transparency in what you see. We don’t hide marine park fees or other random stupid things that companies will sometimes not be upfront about. If you have to pay it, we will let you know so you can make your decision with the full information!
